VCAMS Young people who are experiencing cyber bullying

Victorian Child and Adolescent Monitoring System - Young people who are experiencing cyber bullying. This data is collected as part of the Victorian Student Health and Wellbeing Survey (VSHWS), also known as 'About you' by DET.

About You was collected for the first time in 2014, in Victorian schools from all sectors, and across 17 DHS local areas. Sexual health data were collected in Government and independent schools only. Height and weight related data were collected from a subsample of schools and are available at metropolitan and regional levels.

About You included a sample of approximately 6,000 students from 264 Victorian schools, in Years 5, 8 and 11. It also collected direct height and weight measurements for a subsample of around 1,500 students from 80 schools.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) defines Standard Error (SE) as a measure of the variation between any estimated population value that is based on a sample rather than the true value for the population. The Relative Standard Error (RSE) is the standard error expressed as a fraction of the estimated value and is usually displayed as a percentage.

Relative standard errors of 25% to 50% should be used with caution. Relative standard errors greater than 50% are considered too unreliable for general use.
