Data adjustments: Where a volunteer leaves the Service but then re-joins, the end date relevant to that volunteer is amended in such a way that the earlier end date is removed. The start date will remain as it was originally entered. This has the result that those volunteers who have left the Service will have a longer period of tenure recorded than is actually the case.
