Growth Areas Infrastructure Contribution Rates for 2022-23

The Growth Areas Infrastructure Contribution (GAIC) is administered under the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and the Taxation Administration Act 1997. The Victorian Planning Authority trading as the Metropolitan Planning Authority is responsible for administering GAIC and related Policy. GAIC was established to help provide infrastructure in Melbourne's expanding fringe suburbs and is collected by the State Revenue Office.

The file contains the GAIC rates and threshold for 2022-23 and includes the following: Financial year, Type A land ($ per hectare), Type B-1 & B-2 land ($ per hectare), Type C land ($ per hectare), Interest % on deferred GAIC and Building works threshold.
