Road Safety Camera Network - Trends in Fines Hume Freeway

Trends in fines for each of the seven highway camera systems within the State of Victoria since each highway camera system began operating.

Fines are recorded at the offence date. Victoria Police suspended the use of all point-to-point cameras on the Hume Freeway on 14 October 2010. The point-to-point camera system was reactivated in August 2012. Infringements issued after this time will be reflected in data produced from the first quarter of 2012-13 onwards.

Includes fines issued for speeding and unregistered vehicles. Road works and camera maintenance may influence the number of fines issued. The number of fines issued is subject to variation over time as they may be withdrawn or reissued.
