Box-Ironbark Forests and Woodlands Investigation Final Recommendations - for the Environment Conservation Council. The Minister, under Section 17 of the Environment Conservation Council Act 1997 required the Environment Conservation Council to carry out an investigation of Victorias Box-Ironbark Forests and Woodlands occurring on public land in northern Victoria. The area investigated was the box-ironbark ecosystem stretching from the Grampians in the west to Wodonga in the north-east.
