Equivalent of the PLM100PLY master dataset in SDE format. It contains GIS codes as well as their text descriptions. PLM100_POLYGON is under the CROWNLAND schema on MAPDBDEV and MAPDB. If a tile is editied and replaced in the L100MGA SYSX ArcInfo libraries, PLM100_POLYGON will be refreshed the same night to reflect the edits.
PLM100_POLYGON is created by loading PLMP100PLY, PLMA100PLY, PLMB100PLY, PLMC100PLY ArcInfo L100MGA Library layers into the one Oracle SDE dataset. The X_SRCLAYER item describes what management layer a polygon belongs to ie (P) Primary (A) First Overlay (B) Second Overlay (C) Third Overlay.
Updates to the master data source are synchronised with PLM100_POLYGON) overnight.
A statewide project to update Parks and Reserves and State Forest was completed in June 2005. AVAIL100 (forests) and a spatial version of PRIMS (Parks and Reserves) were used as data sources respectively. Polygons that either didn't exist in the master PLM100 data source (PLM100PLY); or do exist in PLM100PLY and require significant changes to boundaries were updated. Parks and Reserves attribute information also updated extensively.
This dataset is not maintained and has been replaced by PLM25.
PLEASE NOTE: This dataset has had its last update on 10/03/2010 and is now superseded by the new PLM25 dataset. Proposed Parks and Reserves that are to be included from the River Red Gum Study will be incorporated into the PLM25 dataset and not here.
