Recreation Point of Interest

The Points of Interest layer was created in 2017 to enable points of interest to be communicated to visitors to State forest . It will be used at sites and along trails where there may be no physical built assets (e.g. viewpoint to distance feature, site of an historic event, site of silvicultural/logging/mining interest etc) to be displayed as points on a map, with linked descriptive text explaining what the point of interest is. It is likely this layer will be sparsely populated whilst point of interest opportunities are identified and populated in RecWeb
